Bertrand Mareschal

Betrand Mareschal is a Professor at Quantitative methods (statistics, operational research and decision aid), Centre Emile Bernheim, Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management, ULB, Belgium. He has a MA in mathematics, ULB, Belgium, 1983, a Postgraduate MA in actuarial science, ULB, Belgium, 1986, and a Doctorate in science, ULB, Belgium, 1989.

He also is a co-author (with Prof. J.P. Brans) of the PROMETHEE-GAIA multicriteria decision aid methodology, the author and developer of the PROMCALC and Visual PROMETHEE MCDA software, the owner and administrator of the http://www.promethee-gaia.net/ website, the creator, coordinator and co-chair of the PROMETHEE Days meetings, the owner and administrator of the http://www.promethee-days.com/ website, and the Editor-in-Chief of the Outranking & Decision open journal devoted to outranking multicriteria decision aid methods (first issue in 2020): https://www.outrankinganddecision.com.
